Selling in France from abroad: Ziclotech’s winning strategy with Weavenn

Usecase

How can an international seller improve its sales on the French market?

Selling in a foreign market can represent a major opportunity for e-commerce sellers. It often comes with logistical and commercial challenges: longer delivery times, customer perception of reliability, and after-sales service management.

Ziclotech, a Spanish distributor of consumer electronics, chose to rely on Weavenn’s logistics solution to grow its sales on the French market.

We spoke with Javier Fresco, Marketplace Specialist in the Sales Department at Ziclotech, who shares the objectives behind this collaboration and the results observed.

“Working through Weavenn meant we could ensure that, from the customer’s perspective, delivery was carried out from France and directly by Fnac/Darty — with all the reassurance that implies.”

What were your objectives at the start of your collaboration with Weavenn ?

Our objectives were clear: as a Spanish store, we felt that the “shipped from Spain” label could penalize us when delivering to the French market.

Working through Weavenn meant we could ensure that, from the customer’s perspective, delivery was carried out from France and directly by Fnac/Darty — with all the reassurance that implies for the customer.

On top of that, after-sales service and order tracking would also be handled by them, giving us full control over the entire operation.

What did Weavenn concretely enable you to achieve or improve ?

We observed a significant increase in sales on products shipped via Weavenn, compared to the period when we were managing shipments directly.

In addition, the workload of our support team decreased, thanks to Weavenn’s direct handling of after-sales service.

Would you recommend Weavenn ?

Absolutely. The platform is very easy to manage, both for creating product listings and handling shipments. Our intention this year is to increase the number of references stored in their warehouses in order to further improve our sales.

Local logistics as a lever for international growth

Ziclotech’s experience highlights a central challenge for international sellers: logistics and delivery perception play a key role in marketplace conversion rates.

By enabling merchants to offer delivery operated from France and integrated into the Fnac/Darty distribution network, Weavenn helps build customer trust while simplifying operational management for sellers.

For e-commerce players looking to expand into new markets, logistics orchestration can become a genuine growth driver.
